Procurement Matchmaking For Suppliers and Buyers
VACC's Procurement Matchmaking program matches small company “sellers” with participating “buyers” represented by government agencies and large business (Primes), and Corporations on Wednesday September 15th during the ProcureCon Asia 2010 Annual Convention in a special matchmaking meeting room. This portion of the event is limited in availability and is offered to the first 50 small businesses registered for the overall convention on a first come, first serve basis.
How Does Matchmaking Work? How Do I Participate?
First, You Must Register to attend the Conference - In order to participate in Procurement Matchmaking, you must first register for the conference by completing the Box at the end of the Attendee Registration page.
- Upon completion and verification of your registration for the annual conference, a member of the Match Making Team will contact you and/or send you an email inviting you to begin the matchmaking scheduling process.
- During this process you will be presented with a schedule for the day and the selection of procurement representatives that match with your organization. With this information, you will be able to build a schedule of appointments with your matches to best organize your day at the Conference.
Frequently Asked Questions About Procurement Matchmaking
How Long Are the Matchmaking Appointments?
Appointments are in 15-minute increments with a five-minute break in between each appointment. The first appointment begins at 9:30 am. The last appointment of the day will occur at 11:45 am.
How many appointments will I receive?
The total number of appointments will be based on how well your firm matches up to the product and service needs of the participating procurement representatives.
What if I don't match with participating buyers?
To help ensure meaningful appointments, we will only match small businesses who match the buyers' products or services. Our staff will do everything possible to help you secure your desired appointments. If you are not able to secure an appointment please remember that these same buyers will also be exhibiting at the EXPO and attending our luncheon program, networking, and town hall as well, so there is more than one way to network with them.
Can I register onsite?
Due to the preparation that will go into the individual attendance and participation in the Procurement Matchmaking program, we strongly encourage you to pre-register for this event. Registrations will only be accepted if there are available slots during the show.

Will my company be awarded contracts during Procurement Matchmaking?
Procurement Matchmaking provides unique opportunities for suppliers to meet with buyers who desire to sub-contracts to smaller firms. While we do not guarantee contracts, we are creating valuable opportunities for small businesses to hold personal meetings with potential clients that would have taken years to research and schedule on their own.
